<description>Please allow me to make a correction. The article was written by Brother Tom Rambo # 54. While he and I collaborated a bit on it, he is the major scribe of our Alumni Brothers. He can put pen to paper better than no one I know. All I did was to pass along his missive to IHQ. But no matter who wrote it, it was one of the finest times in my long history with LXA and LX Z (43 years)that I have ever had in my long life time, second only to George Spasyk who did our 40 th celebration and I would forever bow to him.
While I and some of the older Alums wanted pictures taken with him, the new younger Brothers hovered around him like bees to honey. That is the charisma that Brother George has.

There was an article that said that another Zeta was doing a 40 year celebration, but I want the record to be straight. LX Z was the only one Chartered in 1969.

Brother Brad, I am sorry that I never had a chance to meet you, but as life moves on so must all of us!

For all that read this, and I do know many Brothers, there is nothing like going back and being with Brothers from yore who attend. While some of laugh about how we have all changed, there was a need for a balm for the pounding on backs, hugging each other and well grabbing hands and then hugging each other, kissing each other on the cheeks, having tears coming down the cheeks with joy.

While this is mine only, never forget your Zeta and go back to see them when you can! Be a member of your Fraternity and Zeta, you will never forget it!

<description>Great to see the LX Zeta at Pitt State is still going strong. My wife and I lived not far away in Independence, KS for a couple of years before moving to Seattle three years ago. If we were still in Indy, we certainly would have been there.

<description>While the article is short it is only because of space.
It is hard to really put into words the years that were crossed that weekend from myself to the new younger Brothers who were in attendence. But the common thread was being Brothers of LX Z, age was not in anyones thoughts that evening. It was being with our fellow Brothers and their wives who are part of our family from so many generations which was the main point.
What was not mentioned was the fact that Brothers came from coast to coast, border to border, and one from Canada.

I have always tried to impress on each Brother, all I and a few others did was to start something and it has taken every Brother to build us to where we are today, 600+ members and growing.

It was especially important for us to have Brother George Spasyk there as he was a part of our colonization in 1966. He is still such a gentleman and a very special part of LXA history.

I mentioned to a fellow Brother that night that is was a good thing that no more Alumni showed up as there was no more room for us where we had the dinner. The only other place would have been in the University field house. LOL.
All I can say, it was one of the biggest highlights of my life.

In ZAX all of my Brothers from sea to shining sea and border to border, and Canada. Thank you one and all.
