It's always good to know that Francis X. Nutto is still alive and kicking. It sounds like Franz "Duke" Zimmerli really knew his metallergy and the like. It's also good to know that a fellow brother like Ron Holland would look on E-Bay for a bit of history for Lambda Chi Alpha espically for the Brothers of Sigma Zeta.

Re: Article about Franz Zimmerli, Sigma 24:
I had the pleasure of shaking the hand of Duke Zimmerli in the early forties at Ann Arbor. He told me about stainless steel - that is isn't necessarily non-magnetic. Heavily worked stainless (like kitchen sink) may be magnetic. Try a magnet on sink and hear it go "clunk." He also mentioned something about Austenitic steel. You metalurgists will know about that. I also had the pleasure of shaking the hands of Bruce MaIntosh and Duke Flad (as well as fellow Sigma member George Spasyk of course). If I ramble, I take shelter behind my 82 years. fxn sigma 486

Perhaps age and time dictate, but I truly would like to hear information about the Epsilon Omega chapter that used to be at the University of Miami, Coral Gables, Fla. My husband was James (Jim) Francis Lochner, Epsilon Omega 434, and yes, he graduated in 1957 and passed on December 26, 2001.....still remember his number after all of these years...Thank you - Sonia Lochner-Turcotte

My chapter at the University of Tulsa never has any news. I am certain that they do. The chapter should get some one who will report the news on this internet program.
